With a major in biochemistry and minors in political science and philosophy, Louise Franke forged an academic path that combined her passion for medicine and research with her love for the humanities. As Clemson’s first-ever Rhodes Scholar, Franke will continue her studies at Oxford University to pursue a career as a physician and bioethicist.
